Community News
This weekend at most of the Masses children from our Parishes will be beginning their Sacramental Program along with their parents. Please pray for these children and families as they prepare to learn about the Sacraments of Penance, Confirmation and First Eucharist.
We begin celebrating Masses in the Nursing Homes of our Parish this week. If you have someone who lives in a Nursing Home who would like Holy Communion weekly and has not been doing so, please contact Hilary in the Parish Office.
Next Sunday we will celebrate World Marriage Day at our Masses. We will celebrate the vocation to marriage and ask God's blessing on all of us. Be aware that there are various organisations which exist within the Archdiocese to help enrich and support marriage and the family.
We are looking for a handyman/gardener/cleaner to work 20 hours a week in the Parish properties. The applicant will need to be able to work flexible hours during the week. All applicants will need references and need to send the application to the Parish Office by Tuesday 14th February, marked Attention: Karrin.

This Friday evening, Bishop Joseph Oudeman will be present for the Parish Feast Day
of Our Lady of Lourdes, Sunnybank. You are invited to participate by joining in the Rosary at 7 pm

The children from Our Lady of Lourdes School will help us to reflect on the decades of the Rosary by acting
out the mysteries. Everyone in the Parishes of Sunnybank and Acacia Ridge is invited to attend.
Each of our Parish groups and committees will be asked to stand when their group is named during the Mass
as a witness to the gifts that are shared in the Parish.
You are invited to bring a flower to place in front of Our Lady's statue just before the beginning of Mass.
