BAPTISM

It is the policy of this parish that parents who wish to present their babies for Baptism attend a one night preparation program. On this evening you will be welcomed and introduced to other young families. The atmosphere is friendly. You are welcome to bring baby with you. We will explain the significance of the ceremony, role of godparents and the symbols (eg. baptismal robe, candle etc.). We will explain the Church's system of registration.
The preparation & enrolment evening is held once monthly (usually the first Monday of the month). Phone the parish office to find out the next date.
Times for baptisms are at 10.30 am on most Sundays at St Bernard's (except in Lent). Please try to cooperate with these time.
