CHILDREN'S SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM

St Bernard's parish follows the policy of the Brisbane Archdiocese with regard to the preparation of children for the sacraments of Penance, Confirmation and First Eucharist.
The parish involves children and their families in a parish family based Sacramental process. This program is coordinated by our Pastoral Associate who can be contacted at the parish office.
Preparation is fourfold, inviting families to:-

• Share regularly in parish liturgy
• Share in parish life
• Share in parish mission
• Engage in ongoing learning (both parents and children)

First Reconciliation

Celebrated during Lent.

Confirmation And First Eucharist

Celebrated around Pentecost; at the culmination of the Easter Season. The time of new life for the parish.
