MARRIAGE

Prior to accepting a booking for time/place of marriage, you need an appointment to meet with our parish or assistant priest. We require an undertaking that you take part in a marriage preparation program. This is necessary because we are genuinely interested in your happiness and future.
We will assist you in your preparation, prepare all civil and church legal documents for you, and assist you to plan your own ceremony. We introduce you to people who can assist you with the music. We expect you to cooperate with the people who prepare the church, arrange flowers, etc. You are advised to start arranging your wedding plans at least 12 months prior to the ceremony.
If your fiancé is not Catholic we believe it is a good idea to introduce him/her to our parish. It is a good idea to invite your fiancé to attend weekend Mass here.
